Full + DEEP can be installed together below.

FOV is the angle covered by the longer side of your image. The checked ranges describe our real-image tests, not hard limits or a guarantee for every frame. Star count and image quality also matter.

First solve

Build. Download. Solve.

Rust for building. Python 3.11+ for installation. After installation, solving runs offline.

Use another new installation directory. The cache reuses your verified Full archive.

Windows and manual installation

In PowerShell, use py -3 with Python 3.11+ and run target\release\skyshot.exe. The data files are shared across platforms.

For manual or offline installation, download the small installer bundle and your selected archives. Keep the folder layout, then follow INSTALL.md inside.

Compatibility

Verified installation.

The installer checks the pinned release, archive SHA256 and every runtime file. Interrupted downloads resume. Existing indexes are never overwritten.

Space & compatibility.

Allow 2 GB for Full, or 11 GB for Full + DEEP, including archives. These indexes are qualified with Skyshot Solver 0.1.0.
